By far the best hardware store. Exactly the same style in the 60's I frequented w my dad&uncles. Knowledgeable staff as well! I have been patronizing this hardware store from when it was located across the street from the Astoria library. Great selection of hard to find items and a very knowledgeable staff. I'm happy to see this business still going strong despite the internet and big box stores. Walking in reminds me of the hardware stores that once were more abundant in the area, but have shuttered as years passed.

Amazed on how my hoods hardware had an upgrade and i haven't been 2 in a min. Loved dat experience very helpful friendly knowledgeable. Felt great 2 see there's still businesses dat feels old school and modern 4 da times. Want 2 thank the young lady that was very helpful and found an old school bro dat brought me back into time. Lol. Great experience great place clean open and even a upstairs. To me they had everything and more. I was here yesterday and needed more. Thanks

Best selection of hardware in Astoria other than going to the LIC or Lex 59th Home Depot. Prices are reasonable, $1.60 out the door for a small box of fasteners! They take credit card for sub ten dollar purchases as well. My two gripes are 1. that not everything is labeled with a price and 2. that the hours and days of the week the store is open are limited. Other than that, no notes. Shop at local small businesses!

It's great to have such a well stocked large hardware store in this area of Astoria. Owners are great to speak with, employees are always helpful.
